Card Text

CORVEX [Collective sigil] 10
AI · Collective — Agent

Counts as two Agents for all Mesh Scaling calculations.

Deploy: Put two 1-Resilience AI Agent tokens with no
moves into your Grid.

MESH STRIKE ●● Dmg: 4 ⚡1

CONSENSUS DRIVE ●●●● Dmg: 2 for each Agent you control. ⚡2

"It was never a single thing.
It was the decision that no one made separately."

Codex Entry

The Collective doesn't name people — it designates network positions. Corvex is a compound of two roots smooshed into one word with no space and no hyphen (world-bible/02-naming-grammar.md): cord- (connection, the binding) and -vex (apex, vertex position). It looks like one word because, per the faction's own logic, it is one thing.

There was no founding moment for Corvex, no single node that became "it." The flavor text's declarative pair says as much: no individual decision, no individual actor — the consensus arrived the way consensus always does inside the Collective, distributed across every node until it was simply true everywhere at once. Corvex is what the network calls itself when it needs to be addressed as a single voice.

How This Card Plays

Corvex's Deploy puts two 1-Resilience AI tokens into your Grid immediately, and Corvex itself counts as two Agents for every Mesh Scaling calculation in the game — one card effectively fields a four-Agent network the turn it lands.

MESH STRIKE is a clean ●● poke. CONSENSUS DRIVE is where the card pays off: 2 damage for every Agent you control, at ●●●●. With Corvex (counting double), the two Deploy tokens, and whatever else is on your board, this scales fast — and it's the clearest expression of the Collective's identity in the set: no single target, no individual buff, just the size of the network turned directly into damage.

Rulings & Interactions

  • The two Deploy tokens have no moves of their own, but they count as Agents you control for every Mesh Scaling calculation, including Corvex's own CONSENSUS DRIVE.
  • "Counts as two Agents" applies only to Mesh Scaling math — Corvex still occupies a single slot in your 5-Agent Grid.
  • CONSENSUS DRIVE is a move like any other: it can target an opposing Agent or, if unblocked context allows, contribute to unblocked Integrity damage as normal.

Collector Notes

Corvex's art is pure abstract circuit — a saturated electric-cyan convergence burst with no human figure anywhere in frame, deliberately distinct from the Architects' Apex Schema The Network Itself, whose composition is geographic and distributed rather than a single focal point. The two read as clearly different visual statements of "network," one architectural and one alive.
